Effective communication is vital during a crisis. As strategic communicators, we all know the importance of having a solid communications foundation and the agility to pivot on a dime during an emergency. And that solid foundation comes from having all our communications plans in place, from staying informed on the latest technology to supporting employees through effective recruitment and diversity, equity and inclusion efforts to knowing exactly how much communication is enough.
With that in mind, make plans to attend the 2023 Communicators Summit on April 26. There will be learning opportunities for everyone during this impactful half-day session. You are guaranteed to leave with actionable ideas.
Keynote speaker Lauren Landwerlin will kick off the first section of the day by discussing lessons learned from the shooting tragedy at her employer, Saint Francis Health System. Landerwerlin will be followed by speakers from the City of Tulsa, Tulsa Police Department and others to dig further into ways to address a crisis - as they happen and what comes next.
For the second half of this information-packed seminar, learn from speakers on DE&I, the latest in communications technology (including AI!), and what the new world of employee retention and workforce recruitment looks like. The speaker format will keep everyone engaged with short, 20-minute, large-group sessions.
The day will conclude with one more, high-energy keynote speaker in Elsa Paul who will discuss how actually speaking less may be the key to landing your organizational message. Paul will be just what everyone needs to stay energized through to the end.
